Heal your back

Pain and injuries in the spine area are very common sources of suffering among our people today. Our perception of our injuries and chronic pain become hard-wired into our brain, eventually twisting the way we experience and live our lives. The vast majority of us define our injuries and pain as limitations and develop a resentful attitude towards them; this does not have to be the case. What if we can perceive our injuries as a gift, an opportunity to learn how to heal ourselves and evolve? In fact, by healing our physical scars we also become more skillful on overcoming our emotional blockages and live past our preconditioned limitations.

Unlock your Hips, Shoulders & Neck

Our pelvis and hips are places of great mystery. Unfortunately, due to our sedentary and predominantly stressful lifestyle our hips get locked up and lead to pain, bad posture, reduced mobility and digestive issues. On a deeper level, energetic blockages form in the pelvic area shutting down our life energy, sexuality and self-esteem, which are all causes for depression. In this workshop, you will learn how to create space in your hip and shoulder joints and move in a way that is healthy and pain-free for your body. The juicy sequence will help you delve into feeling and open up new neurological pathways in order to modify your habitual moving patterns. You will feel your energy uplifting and realise that you can be responsible for the type of energy that you create. That way you can bring this sharp awareness off-the mat and use it for making life choices based on integrity. This is what I call true empowerment.

In modern society stress is dominating our lives and we tend to constantly be on edge. It is very common for fear and insecurity to take over our minds and influence our life choices. This Forrest Yoga workshop will help you connect to your core intelligence and discover your true strength. By knowing your true strength, you will begin to react to surges of fear with integrity instead of panicking. You will begin to make decisions that are not based on fear and struggle. Come sweat and move the stagnant energy that is sitting in your body and learn how to illuminate your Spirit.

Workshop 2: Building a Warrior’s heart

The majority of our problems today – depression, anxiety, mental disorders – stem from overanalyzing, which has replaced our innate ability to connect to our heart’s wisdom. This Forrest Yoga workshop will teach you how to connect to your heart and free yourself from overthinking and self-doubt. Brain and heart are strongest when they work together; not against. Opening your heart doesn’t mean that you must expose yourself to heartbreaks repeatedly. Building a warrior’s heart simply means to listen to your intuition and learn what is worth fighting for and what is worth fighting against. Discerning what serves you and what needs to go. You will increase your awareness through deep breathing and intense physical practice. It will be clear to you that what you will be learning on the mat, can also be applied off the mat.

Workshop 3: Celebrate your practice

We are excellent at judging ourselves and self-dimming our Spirits by dwelling on what’s wrong with us. How about learning how to acknowledge also what is great about us? This Forrest Yoga workshop will offer you a fun and juicy, hip-opening sequence which will trigger a feeling of vibrancy and gratitude in your body and Spirit. By choosing gratitude instead of toxic self-talk, you will begin to produce good chemicals in your body, honour yourself and recognize your unique Beauty. The ceremony will end with guided meditation.
